We are pleased to offer a range of short courses that can help you get back into work, or to help you find another job if you are facing redundancy.

 

City & Guilds Employability

Course: 28th, 29th, 30th November, 1st, 2nd December 2016

This is a five day course working towards an award in employability skills. Learners will have mock interviews with colleagues from local businesses and guidance within CV writing, personal presentation, interview prep and much more.

 

Introductory ICT to Support Job Applications

Course: 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th December 2016

This is a four day course working towards an entry level qualification in ICT. Designed for learners who have little or no knowledge of computers and are looking to improve their skills. The course helps individuals make on-line job applications, set up an email account and attach a CV to an email.

 

Intermediate/Improvers ICT

Inductions: By appointment – Contact Will Nunne on 01256 306366
Course: 30th, 31st January, 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th February 2017

This is a seven day course aimed at those who already have some IT skills but wish to refresh and improve. They will use Microsoft Office 2013 software to cover a variety of topics in Word, Excel and PowerPoint to achieve an extended award or info at Level 1.
