BCoT Photography students recently held a photo shoot style event in the Lower Concourse, in aid of the Brain Tumour Research charity. With all proceeds going to the worthy cause, the event consisted of getting a picture with a variety of hats on and being bombarded by balloons. Barbering event for charity

BCoT Barbering students recently came up with a hair-raising idea to show their support for a worthy cause. The event was organised by Level 2 and 3 barbers as they offered both hair and beard cuts for a minimum donation price of 50p, with all proceeds going to the chosen charity. As well as cutting hair, they also held a raffle which offered great prizes, including a meal at the BCoT Restaurant, Cinema tickets and treatments at Salon Evolve. SSE welcomes Maria Miller MP

Maria Miller, MP for Basingstoke, recently visited SSE to mark the start of National Apprenticeships Week.  Maria met with Apprentices Elise Albinson and Rachel Bennet, who are studying for Business Admin level 2 qualifications with SSE Business Energy. Social Media success for Media lecturer

Rotary Technology Tournament

The Rotary Club have returned to BCoT for their annual Technology Tournament this week.  Teams from BCoT, QMC and local secondary schools including Costello, Fort Hill, Cranbourne, Aldworth and The Hurst all took part in the challenge to construct a bridge.
