Two BCoT students wowed the organisers of the Big Brand Fashion Fix event in Festival Place recently. Radio Station Internship for student

A BCoT student has secured an exciting opportunity at London radio station, Fubar. Beth Bray, currently studying Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Technology is due to start an internship in June, following the completion of her course.  Her role at Fubar will include creating playlists for the DJ’s, editing footage and working on various shows throughout the day. Parability Festival 2016

A Culinary Skills student from BCoT has won the coveted title of “Pastry chef of the Year” at the finals of the Institute of Hospitality Awards for students.  Sam Egerton-Kemp was presented with the award at a celebratory evening held at Lainston House Hotel in Winchester. Ofsted May 2016

BCoT welcomes a team from Ofsted, under lead inspector, Peter Nelson.  The visit will last four days (Tuesday 3rd to Friday 6th May) and will look at all aspects of the College. The team will actively seek the views of learners, and their parents, during the visit.  The final inspection report is likely to take about eight weeks to be published, when the results will be publicly available. Mayor goes back to College
