Cake sale raises money for charity

BCoT Travel and Tourism students held a cake sale recently in aid of Jeans for Genes Day. The learners raised a total of £120.52 during the event, where they sold a variety of different cupcakes, doughnuts and other sweet treats. Lewis Hoskins takes the helm as BCoT’s Student Union (SU) President Lewis, who is in his second year at BCoT studying Level 3 Public Services, says he wants to “make a positive change and impact” in his new role at the College. Bike Workshop for students

BCoT recently held a bike maintenance workshop in conjunction with Festival Place and the Community Furniture Project for Basingstoke Green Week (17th-26th September).  Both current BCoT students and members of the public attended the event; eager to learn how to maintain and fix bikes, using recycled parts.
