As a student at BCoT, you will have access to our fully-equipped onsite gym with a range of resistance, cardio equipment and free weights.

Aspiral Learning at BCoT is one of the largest providers of apprenticeships in the region, working with both large and small employers across all industry sectors. From construction and engineering to business and hospitality,we have an apprenticeship for you!

Located on the South-site of our campus, students are able to buy hot and cold food from the refectory known as Taste @ BCoT.
From paninis, sandwiches and snacks; to lasagne, jerk chicken and soup of the day, Taste @ BCoT offers a range of choices every day with gluten free, dairy free and vegan options. A hot main course typically costs between £2.00 - £3.00.
BCoT has a range of Financial Support to support students who are studying a full-time course at our college.

We have recently opened our new Starbucks cafe based on the North-site of our campus in the lower concourse. This is a great place to meet friends and enjoy some social time before heading to class. Why not bring along your own travel cup and get a discount on your drink?
Repeatedly rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted since 2012, the BCoT Nursery is an on-site nursery open to members of the public offering full and part-time care for children aged 3 months to pre-school age. A number of parents from Basingstoke and the local area together with BCoT staff and students utilise the Nursery for childcare.
The Nursery also provides a high quality training setting for Early Years and Childcare students who are able to spend time in the Nursery to gain valuable work experience.

Known as 'Basingstoke's Best Kept Secret', the Restaurant at BCoT offers quality dining at pocket friendly prices run by our Hospitality and Catering students.
The Restaurant offers a range of specialty events and themed menus to inspire our customers and develop our students, giving them the opportunity to learn, practice and master their skills in a state-of-the-art, industry standard kitchen.

Launched in 2020, the Electric Vehicle (EV) Centre is the first of its kind in the South East and will add huge value for both the local industry and students. The £300k development will help equip our students with the skills they need for the future as greener energy and the hybrid and electric vehicle market continues to increase.
The EV Centre also offers a range of short courses to enable people from the Automotive and Electrical trades to gain qualifications and knowledge to enable themselves to help facilitate the switch to greener, lower carbon energy and more sustainable transport.

The Evolve salon at BCoT is a training salon where students are taught at the highest professional standard and supervised by fully qualified beauty or hairdressing staff, giving them the opportunity to learn, practice and master skills in industry-standard hair and beauty salons.
The Evolve beauty salon offers a range of treatments including hand, foot, nail and make up services. There is a range designed especially for men; including sports massage, waxing, beard trimming and scalp massage. The Evolve Hair salon provides cutting, perming, barbering, colouring and styling.

Opened in September 2017, the Mike Taylor Barbering College is a training academy where students are trained to the highest professional standard in male grooming and are supervised by fully-qualified members of staff. Mike Taylor, a former BCoT student himself, is one of the country’s leading barbers and the very first in the UK to be crowned a master craftsman.

The Learning Hub is the digital heartbeat of the college providing students with a modern, innovative study space to continue their studies outside the classroom.
After undergoing a £150,000 refurbishment in 2019, the Learning Hub is now a flexible, high-tech, modern study space with the latest state-of-the-art education technology. Students have access to equipment such as Virtual Reality headsets, Google Chromebooks, an interactive ‘Jamboard’ whiteboard, tens of thousands of digital and physical resources and private study pods for independent and collaborative learning.

Located on the North-site of the college campus, the ILT Suite is a computer suite for all students to continue their studies outside of the classroom. All computers are installed with Windows, Microsoft Office and the full Adobe Master Collection software.

Launched in 2020, LaunchSpace is a multipurpose, dynamic and tech-rich facility that will prepare the future workforce with essential digital skills and enable the delivery of creative and innovative project-based learning opportunities by using industry-standard technology in a flexible learning environment. LaunchSpace consists of five highly connected and digitally enhanced classroom suites - Creative, Health, Sustainability, Travel, and Cyber - with moveable partitions to allow the flexible space to open up and accommodate a range of different learning activities. Local workforce and businesses will also benefit from the cutting-edge technology and bespoke support.
