Accounting - Level 4 Professional Accounting/Tax Technician Standards

Course Overview

Apprenticeships let you learn on the job, develop knowledge and skills, gain an AAT Accounting Qualification and earn money – all at the same time.

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone who has been working in an accounting role and is looking to consolidate their knowledge and progress to a supervisory or management role on their journey in accounting and can be the next step on the ladder to becoming a fully qualified Accountant.

You will learn on the job and in college taking into account how you would assist with month end management accounts and/or year-end financial statements as well as regulatory financial requirements such as the completion of VAT returns or assisting in the preparation of tax computations.

You’ll study an AAT qualification by attending a college class one day a week with qualified tutors who all currently still work in the accounting industry.

Study units include: Financial Statement of Limited Companies, Budgeting, Management Decision and Control, Accounting Systems and Controls, Personal Tax and Credit Management

  • it’s a sure way of getting into the workforce
  • earn while you learn
  • learn a business from the bottom up while you develop your skills
  • fast-track your career and move up the career ladder quicker than a university graduate, and without the university debt
