Future Skills Centre to hold final Open Event of the year online
Prospective students are invited to find out more about construction courses at the FSC.
On Tuesday 23 June, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT)’s Future Skills Centre in Bordon will be opening its doors virtually for prospective students to find out more about construction courses.
Due to social distancing rules, the FSC will be running its open event via an online meeting. They are inviting year 10 and 11 students to sign up and log on to the event, where a live talk will be taking place from the FSC’s experienced staff.
The FSC is a £3.8million facility that offers a wide range of specialist construction courses in Bordon, designed to meet the needs of employers in the construction industry. Courses include carpentry, electrical and brickwork.
Steve Gilder, Head of Construction at FSC said: “With social distancing rules in place, we want to ensure students have the opportunity to find out more about the FSC so we have decided to hold an online event. Students and parents will be able to join us from the comfort of their own homes and find out more about courses we have available in Bordon. The FSC is a fantastic facility and we are really excited to welcome lots of new students in September.”
The event is taking place from 5.30pm to 6.30pm using online platform Google Meets. Pre-register for the event and receive everything you need to log on and chat to staff now!
