College Celebrates Prestigious Wins at Edufuturists 2024 Awards

The College enjoyed a night of triumph at the prestigious Edufuturists 2024 Awards ceremony in Leeds last night. The college took home two major awards and received notable commendations in several categories.

Award Wins

• College of the Year: BCoT was recognised for its innovative approach to education, specifically its early adoption of AI technology to enhance teacher wellbeing and workflow since May 2023.
• Wellbeing Champion: Holly Hunt was awarded Wellbeing Champion for her outstanding efforts in supporting and coordinating staff wellbeing initiatives.

Commendations

• Diversity and Inclusion Champion: Maria Thorne
• Accessibility Champion: Learning Support Team
• Edufuturist of the Year: Scott Hayden
