Course Overview

If you want to be part of the fast-paced motorsport industry, then this course is for you. This technical IMI qualification provides students with the skills and experience required to pursue a career in motorsport.

During this two-year technical qualification, you will learn about fault diagnosis and rectification, motorsport vehicle preparation and inspection, electrical charging and starting systems, vehicle ignition systems, engine management systems and petrol injection systems and do a vehicle technology project.

Entry Requirement

Five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English and maths
Completion of the Level 2 Motorsport Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Diploma
