If you want to be part of the fast-paced motorsport industry, then this course is for you. This technical IMI qualification provides students with the skills and experience required to pursue a career in motorsport.
During this one-year technical qualification, you will learn about fault diagnosis and rectification, motorsport vehicle preparation and inspection, electrical charging and starting systems, vehicle ignition systems, engine management systems, and petrol injection systems. You will also do a vehicle technology project.
- Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths or completion of our Future Pathways course.
Successful completion of this course would allow you to progress to Level 3 Motorsport Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Diploma or a related apprenticeship/employment.
