Course Overview
This course will help you develop fluent knowledge, skills and understanding of mathematical methods and concepts. It will also help you acquire, select and apply mathematical techniques to solve problems.
The course is ideal for anyone who doesn't currently hold a grade C/4 in maths or wants to improve a previous grade.
Course Content
This course will cover all necessary mathematical concepts that will be necessary to develop your skills in maths including:
- Number
- Algebra
- Ratio
- Proportion and rates of change
- Geometry and measure
- Trigonometry
- Statistics
- Probability
Entry Requirement
Before being enrolled on this course, you will need to complete an assessment paper.
Assessment
The course will be assessed by three exams - two calculator papers and one non-calculator paper.
