Course Overview

Functional skills courses are designed to help learners improve basic skills in either Maths or English (or both), as well as to enable students to gain a nationally recognised qualification.

Develop a practical and useful skillset in the subjects which will be relevant to a wide range of everyday work and life scenarios!

Course Content

This course will help Learners gain maths skills at Level 2. Learn a way that makes it real and relevant to everyday experiences!

Topics include numeracy skills, measures, shape and space and handling data including statistical measures and probability.

Entry Requirement

Functional Skills Maths Level 1 or equivalent. Level checked on application.

Assessment

Students will take an exam in Functional Skills Maths at Level 2.
