The Personal and Social Development course is an entry-level programme which is focused on supporting young people to develop a range of skills to help prepare them for the future both in life and work.
The course covers a range of topics including goal setting, managing finances, social communication, healthy lifestyles, teamwork, independence and problem-solving.
All assessments are based on in-class work and evidence.
This course can lead to varied progression including Level 2 courses, work and apprenticeships. There are no specific entry requirements for this course, however, students would be expected to continue with English and maths qualifications if appropriate.
This course is aimed at supporting young people who need to develop their skills and confidence and become more independent and prepared for the future.
