Green Careers Week, taking place from the 6th to the 11th of November 2023, is a national campaign dedicated to exploring and promoting career opportunities in the field of sustainability and environmental conservation. It serves as a valuable platform for individuals interested in pursuing green careers to gain insights, network, and acquire the necessary skills for future employment.
The College, in collaboration with 7 other colleges across Hampshire and Surrey, as part of the Strategic Development Fund (SDF), have created over 100 hours worth of free e-learning courses on green skills. These courses serve as the perfect prerequisite or introduction to different career fields, enabling participants to make informed decisions about their future in the green job market.
By providing accessible and comprehensive e-learning courses, BCoT empowers individuals to explore various career paths within the sustainability sector. Whether you are interested in Carbon Literacy, Retrofitting, Sustainable Resource Management, Tree Planting and Climate Change, Ultra Low Carbon Vehicles or Water Conservation Technologies, these courses offer a valuable foundation of knowledge.
