This one-year VTCT qualification will provide you with a broad introduction to hair and make-up with a particular focus on working in film, television and stage.
You will learn about photographic make-up, styling and dressing hair, body art design and skin tanning.The optional section of this qualification allows you to select from a full list of beauty units giving you the opportunity to choose which skills and knowledge you would like to develop further. The choice ranges from; instruction on make-up application, skin tanning or eyelash perming. Underpinning this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment.
- Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths or completion of our Future Pathways course.
Successful completion of this course would allow you to progress to Level 3 Beauty Therapy Diploma or a related apprenticeship/employment.
