Course Overview

This one-year course will provide you with the fundamental knowledge and understanding of business principles that can be applied in a range of business settings. It will appeal to students wishing to understand how business works, and who want to progress into employment or further study in this area. The course provides an introduction to topics such as business enterprise, finance, marketing, customer service, recruitment, team building and project management. This course also supports the successful transition to the Level 3 T Level in Management and Administration.

Entry Requirement

Four GCSE's at grade 3 or above including English and Maths, or completion of our Future Pathways course.

Assessment

You are assessed using a range of assessment methods including two externally set exams, internally set assignments, and project-based work.

Successful completion of this course could lead to further study of a Level 3 qualification such as the T Level in Business and Administration (Leadership and Management), or could provide a pathway into employment in admin, customer service, finance, marketing or human resources.
