Our media and games design department is equipped with industry-standard software, our Media and Games Design department has a cutting-edge virtual production studio, two motion capture suits, VR headsets, and a full suite of professional 3D digital character and clothing creation and animation equipment. Alongside Red Komodo 6K Cameras, audio and video capture and editing equipment, laser cutter and 3D printer.

Industry Links and Trips
Media and Games Design students have previously been on trips to CGI and VFX festivals to hear first-hand insights from industry professionals, as well as an annual trip to the EGX games exhibition and photography trips and studio visits all around the UK. We also offer a range of industry placement opportunities, including creating social media content for All in the Mind Festival, and interactive tools for Lasham Gliding Heritage Centre and Whitchurch Silk Mill.
Students also hear from a range of guest speakers, including representatives from multiple universities about future careers and opportunities in the industry.
