This qualification covers a wide range of key health and social care subject areas. The course includes a wide range of optional units, allowing learners to pursue an interest in the specific areas of social care, health studies and health sciences, while still allowing enough diversity for the optional units to be tailored to suit a learner’s preferred progression path.

- Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English, maths and science.
- Successful completion of a relevant level 2 qualification.
- An external assessment in your first year.
- An external assessment in your second year.
- A short examination question paper on anatomy and physiology in your second year.
- Internal assessed course work.
- Industry Placement is mandatory.
