Course Introduction
This popular course will prepare you for a career
in the travel industry with a specific focus on
the foundation skills needed to become a cabin
crew. You will learn about long-haul destinations,
the cruise industry, working as a holiday rep,
airlines and airports, handling passengers, resort
operations, travel sales and visitor attractions.
In the second year, you will have the opportunity
to study an additional qualification in Air Cabin
Crew. A range of industry-specific trips and
residential visits are an important part of this
course too.
You will learn:

- Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths, or successful completion of a relevant level 2 qualification.
The course is continuously assessed through assignments, projects and case studies. Learners develop a responsible and co-operative approach to working on their own and in groups. The course uses practical activities, presentations and involvement with local business wherever possible.
Successful completion of this course opens up a variety of exciting progression pathways for your future including higher education, a related apprenticeship or employment.
